About the show

Twyla Tharp and Arthur Pita’s latest works for the Royal Ballet. Twyla Tharp is one of today’s most trailblazing choreographers.

In The Illustrated ‘Farewell’ she revisits her 1973 classic As Time Goes By to create a new work for the Royal Ballet. Arthur Pita, a major player in British dance, is best known at the Royal Opera House for the Metamorphosis, an adaptation of the Kafka novella. The Wind is his new work for the company. Hofesh Shechter’s Untouchable gives ballet a brave new direction, pitting classical bodies against Shechter’s signature gravity-bound physicality.
