If you want to impress in the kitchen but don’t know your confit from your sous vide, this introductory culinary course at the Smart School of Cookery is perfect for you.
You’ll spend two hours under the supervision of a professional chef and learn how to create an impressive and delicious three-course meal.
There are different culinary themes from which to choose, and as you cook you’ll be picking up loads of tips and tricks from your chef-tutor.
Smart School of Cookery owner, Ann Hood, was a contestant on BBC’s MasterChef, so the courses are packed with passion and inspiration.
Refreshments – tea, coffee, water – are provided throughout the day, and you’ll get to create your pre-chosen themed meal. At the end of the day, cooks take away a gift pack, which includes a personalised voucher. And all recipes will be emailed to you after the class, so you’ll have the confidence to re-create your meal at home.
Courses start at 9am or 10am in the mornings, or 12pm, 12.30pm or 1.30pm in the afternoons, and you’ll start the session by discussing your chosen menu with your chef.
