Back to Do more
Downton Abbey Highclere Castle tour

Key Points

  • The services of a professional guide at various Downton Abbey film locations
  • Visit historical London sites and pretty Oxfordshire villages used to create the magical world of Downton
  • A guided tour and Cotswold lunch platter at Yew Tree Farm, the home of Mr Drewe
  • £108.00 for two

With Downton Abbey’s final series sadly over, you can still get your Downton fix by exploring some of the show’s unforgettable locations. Departing from the bustle of Temple Underground Station in London, your day will start by taking in some of the central London film sets. You’ll follow in the footsteps of Lady Edith, Mr Bricker and Cora, as you visit the exteriors of Lord Gillingham’s townhouse, the Liverpool Grand Hotel and Grantham House, among other sites.

You'll then be whisked away to rural Oxfordshire, where your tour guide will give you the lowdown at each location, including well-known spots like Downton Village and Yew Tree Farm. Episodes from the series will be shown as you travel between locations so you get the full back story on the places you're about to see. There will also be a tour of Mr Drewe’s farm, where you’ll get a chance to recharge your batteries with a Cotswold lunch platter.
