Colourful, fragrant cut flowers really cheer up a room and lift the spirits, and they make a thoughtful gift, too. But wouldn't it be lovely to present your own bouquet creation to a loved one, or pop it in a vase for your own enjoyment? If you have ever harboured a desire to get to grips with modern floristry, we have the ultimate experience for you.
Florist Tina Adams started offering flower-arranging courses back in 2004, after so many customers asked for tips on how to create beautiful displays. Now she shares her flower skills with budding enthusiasts so that everyone can get a professional finish to their arrangements. And, as she will tell you, flowers aren't just for special occasions, they can bring joy any day of the year.
During your two-hour class in Tutbury, Staffordshire, you'll have the chance to design and decorate your very own arrangement – all under the watchful eye of the expert team. You'll be shown how to combine colours and how to get the most out of your blooms and make them last as long as possible.
All the flowers and floristry bits and pieces are included, so you can be as flamboyant as you like. You might want to try a traditional bouquet, or go for something contemporary – it’s up to you. And remember, you are welcome to take your work of art away with you.
