We’ll make sure that you get the most out of your trip to Wales with our award-winning guided tours of the Welsh capital, Cardiff, and surrounding countryside and coastline.
See the elegant streets and Victorian arcades of the city on a walking tour, and hop into one of our minibuses to take in the Welsh mountains, hills, valleys, beautiful shores and rivers, ancient castles and ruins, all while listening to the traditional language and music of Wales.
On our Mines & Mountains tour, you’ll start the day at Big Pit the National Coal Museum of Wales for a tour of the famous Welsh mine. Then it’s off to the Brecon Beacons National Park and the old market town of Brecon, with its charming streets, shops and boutiques. Next stop is the National Park Visitors Centre, in the middle of the Brecon Beacons.
The Roman & Ruins tour begins with a visit to Britain's most preserved Roman town of Caerleon – which translates as ‘Fort of the Legion’ – taking in the amphitheatre, where gladiators fought to the death, the bath house, where Roman soldiers would have washed and relaxed, and the National Legionary Museum. Cross the majestic rivers Usk and Wye to reach the monastic ruin of Tintern Abbey, and imagine Cistercian monks going about their daily rituals. After lunch at the nearby Abbey Mill, you’ll move on to Raglan Castle, one of the finest medieval fortresses in Britain, taking in views of the Monmouthshire countryside along the way.
The full-day Golden Gower tour of the stunning Welsh peninsular, with its golden sandy beaches, rugged coastline and prehistoric wonders, is one of the our most popular trips. With fantastic views of the beaches from clifftops and hills, coastal path walks, beach walks, Stone Age discoveries and plenty of fresh air, this day will surprise and delight all newcomers to Wales. The main highlights are walking the coastal path and a visit to Rhossili, where you'll have the chance to explore the Serpent of the Sea rocky outcrop and see the spectacular Rhossili Bay.
