The Who are an English rock band from London, currently consisting of frontman Roger Daltrey and guitarist Pete Townshend, with former members being bassist John Entwistle and drummer Keith Moon. The band is set to set stages ablaze in the US and UK on their Back To The Who '51 tour.
Formed in 1964, The Who released ‘My Generation’ in 1965, followed by ‘A Quick One’ the following year, which hit #4 in the UK Albums Chart. Their third album, The Who Sell Out, came out in 1967 and included the Top 10 single 'I Can See for Miles'. They then put out their double album, Tommy, in 1969, which hit #2 in the UK Albums Chart and #4 in the USA Billboard Hot 200.
The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the world, including the Olympics closing ceremony in London. They spent the summer of 2013 performing their new ‘Quadrophenia’ show throughout the UK, and returned in 2014 with their celebration of 50 years of the band. They topped the bill at a British Summer Time show at London’s Hyde Park in June 2015.
