Take a fascinating journey through time with our very own Cotswold Motoring Museum and explore the history of 20th-century motoring. Our collection of rare vehicles and classic memorabilia will give you a nostalgic glimpse into life on the road the way it used to be.

Nestled in the picturesque village of Bourton-on-the-Water, Cotswold Motoring Museum is a great-value day out for visitors of all ages. The museum is also dog friendly, so don’t hesitate to bring your four-legged friend.

Your fun day out will take you on a journey through the history of motoring, displayed in seven showrooms covering over 7500sq ft. Discover classic and vintage vehicles, over 45 motorbikes, caravans, pedal cars, toys and thousands of items of memorabilia! Why not make a day of it by visiting some of the other great attractions nearby .

For our members day their will, be experts on hand throughout the museum to give you the histories and backgrounds on some of our star exhibits.

Visiting on the Boundless Members’ Day gets you all sorts of extra benefits, including free museum guidebooks, prize draws, meet museum experts and a Boundless area to meet our team and other Boundless members.

At every one of our events, the Boundless team will be there to make sure your day goes as smoothly as possible. We’ll have our official Boundless photographer on site to capture the best moments for you, your family and friends. All photos will be available for you to download after the event.

By buying tickets, you’re agreeing to have your photo taken and any images used on our marketing platforms. If you’d prefer not to have your photo taken or appear on our website or social pages, please let us know when you arrive and we’ll make sure arrangements are made.

How can I get there?

By Car

We are located in the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water, which is just off the A429 about half way between the A40 and Stow-on-the-Wold

Where do I Park?

The museum does not have its own car park and members are advised to use on of the public car parks in Bourton on the Water.

Are there any age restrictions?

There is no age restriction to this event. As part of this member day offer Boundless members are entitled to the following free tickets:

  • Two adult tickets (aged 16 and over)
  • Five child tickets (aged 15 and under)
  • Infants (aged 4 and under) are free

I have a friend or family member who wants to come as well

Great, bring them along! The only provision is that the booking must be made by a Boundless member and that everyone who attends has a valid admission ticket.

If you require extra tickets outside your free allocation, people can join today for £32 and book their own tickets through Boundless. If they decide not to join Boundless they can purchase non member tickets at 20% discount.

Only tickets purchased through Boundless will be entitled to members’ day benefits. Boundless tickets have to be reserved in advanced and will not be available on the day.

Where do I pick up my free guidebook and other benefits?

The Boundless team will be located at the front of the museum, located to the right after you get admission to the gardens. Make sure you visit us when you arrive to pick up your event packs, including guidebook, prize draw and more.

What time does this event start and end?

Due to the capacity of the museum, we will be only allowing a limited number of members into the museum at any one time. This is to ensure you have the best experience possible. When you select your ticket you will be asked what admission slot you wish to book into. If you arrive outside of your admission slot you may not be able to access the museum.

Can tickets be transferred?

Once you have purchased your event tickets they cannot be transferred as a current member with valid membership card needs to be present. This is because we have a very limited number of tickets and have to ensure the offer benefits Boundless members.

How accessible is the site for people with mobility difficulties?

The museum is wheelchair accessible throughout. There is a wheelchair accessible toilet. The meeting room/archive is on the first floor and unfortunately, not accessible to wheelchair users.

Are dogs allowed on site?

The museum is a dog friendly venue, however please be aware that not all members feel comfortable around dogs and therefore we ask to kindly bear this in mind when bringing them with you.
