Step back in time and immerse yourself in the captivating history of the Historic Dockyard Chatham. Located on the banks of the River Medway in Kent, this is a chance to embark on a voyage through centuries of maritime heritage as you explore this living monument to Britain’s naval past.

This is a world where ships were born and heroes were made. Climb aboard mighty warships that once ruled the seas, including the HMS Victory’s sister ship the Cavalier, and the last surviving Royal Navy destroyer from the Second World War, HMS Gannet.

Find out what life was like underwater as you board HMS Ocelot, a Cold War-era submarine, and stroll along the Ropery, where endless miles of rope were meticulously crafted to outfit navy ships, an age-old skill that continues today.

In addition to historic vessels and impressive naval architecture, the dockyard also offers a wide range of engaging activities and events for visitors of all ages. Take part in interactive exhibits, engage in hands-on workshops and experience the thrill of the high seas through immersive displays and multimedia presentations.

Whether you’re a history buff, a maritime enthusiast or just looking for a great day out, the Historic Dockyard Chatham promises a memorable experience.

To help you make the most of your day, Boundless will give all members a free guide to the dockyard (worth £3.50), which contains all the information you need about the history of the site and the exhibits on display.

At the end of the day we’ll be holding a free prize draw – a great opportunity to win some goodies to take home as a souvenir of your day.
