About the rally
Thursday 16 September to Sunday 19 September 2021
• Beautiful village of Wrenbury
• Bowling competition
• Snugburys Ice Cream Farm
Come and take part in the Cotton Arms Rally in the beautiful Cheshire village of Wrenbury.
The pub is right next to the rally field and dates back to the 16th century. It’s well known for having a good variety of real ales and home-made traditional food at reasonable prices.
As is our tradition, we’ll be holding our annual bowling competition as long as the weather plays ball. The bowling green is behind the pub and bowls can be borrowed if you don’t have your own – all they ask for is a donation to charity.
The pavilion, which has its own bar, is at the rear of the pub and will be available on Friday and Monday for social activities.
During your stay you can explore Nantwich and Whitchurch, the nearest local towns – the pub’s also on a bus route so it’s easy to get out and about. The beautiful Llangollen Canal is only 100 yards away and gives you access to good level walks and cycling. Other local attractions include Snugburys Ice Cream Farm with its straw sculptures, the secret nuclear bunker and fishing opportunities for the anglers among you. Add in the many national trust sites within 25 miles, and you’ll be spoilt for choice for things to do.
Toilets and showers are at the rear of the pub and available 24 hours (showers £1), making the site suitable for those in tents. Well-behaved pets are welcome and the pub’s dog friendly.
