Thursday 21 June to Tuesday 26 June 2018
- Discover the National Memorial Arboretum
- Visit nearby brewery
- Plenty of nearby restaurants
Join us for all or part of this rally based at Barton Marina, a great location just four miles from the National Memorial Arboretum.
There’s plenty to see in the local area. How about a visit to the National Brewery Centre or a walking trail at Lodge Hill Bluebells? Or maybe you’d prefer to just relax and explore Barton Marina.
The marina is set in 90 acres of beautiful lakes and woodland, the perfect setting for some pleasant walks and the chance to spot a range of wildlife. Within the marina, there are plenty of shops and restaurants – one of these is the Waterfront pub-restaurant, a traditional British pub that serves good-quality food. There are also several other places for you to discover including a gallery of fine art, a cinema and a café-bar, all built in the same Victorian warehouse style.
For a donation, on the Saturday we plan to meet SAS veteran Mike Colton, who will give us a guided tour of the Allied Special Forces Memorial Grove within the Arboretum.
