Tuesday 23 May to Saturday 3 June 2017
A return to this popular 4 Star site for another of our very popular Toe in the Water events primarily, but not exclusively, aimed at those who haven’t ventured abroad before either towing or driving. This well-equipped site is easily accessible from Caen. As well as bar and snackery it boasts an excellent swimming pool with several slides and a large fishing lake. Following recent re-development it now boasts an indoor pool as well. The nearby small town of Le Haye is only ½ a mile away. The site is within easy reach of the Normandy D-Day landing beaches at Utah and Omaha, as well as the first town liberated by the Allied parachutists early on 6th June at St Mere Église. The large sandy beaches of the west coast are only a few miles away. Day trips to Jersey possible.. This beautiful area of France is often overlooked as tourists speed on their way further south. The English speaking owner offers a warm welcome. As well as Rally social activities, the site owner also lays on other activities which are not to be missed. Once more all ferry and site reservations will be handled by Select Sites.
