This beautiful site is close to the German border and only a few miles from the renowned resorts of St Johann and Kitzbuhel. You can easily visit the nearby Lake Chiemsee, with its beautiful palace, or walk in the Alps. A visit to the picturesque town of Berchtesgaden and the mountain-top site of Hitler’s ‘Eagles Nest’, now a restaurant, is also a must.
Laze by the site’s pool, enjoy a typical local folk ‘Alm Tanz’ evening in the excellent restaurant/bar and listen to some local music while you soak up the atmosphere. The more adventurous can try a tandem paraglide descent into the campsite (or at least nearby).
