About the event

11am to 6pm, Sunday 14 May 2017

Returning to this event which is organised annually by the Thornycroft Society. The show features a wide range of vehicles which include traction engines, cars and motorcycles which must have been built before 1st January 1981.

The War Memorial Park will once again be filled with over 900 vehicles at the Basingstoke Festival of Transport 2017. The festival includes a huge range of vehicles on static display, including classic, vintage and commercial vehicles, fire engines, military trucks, and a variety of specialist car clubs, trade stalls and catering outlets.

Whether you're a keen motor buff or you just want an interesting and enjoyable Sunday.

Basingstoke Festival of Transport is a great day out for all the family.

Following the success of our stand last year CVG intend to arrange for a display area at the Festival and CVG members are invited to display their vehicles. Please note the organisers of the show require display vehicles to be first registered before 1981.

Numbers are limited to 12 vehicles and spaces on the stand are by application to Geoff Wooldridge and, if accepted, entry to the event is free.

Classic Vehicle Group will confirm your application ASAP, and by 21 April 2017 at the latest.

Please Submit your entry form to Geoff Wooldridge who will liaises with the organisers with regards to registration etc. For more information or should you wish to display, please visit the CVG events area of the Boundless by CSMA website.
