Join our Midlands Meander 2019!
Classic Vehicle Group is again pleased to offer a MIDLANDS run, a leisurely Saturday run through some of the more interesting roads and byways of the Severn and Teme river valleys which is approximately 110 miles long and without stops will take around 3 hours to drive.
The start is at the Mayfly café, The Cob House Country Park near the village of Martley in the beautiful county of Worcestershire which is able to offer us a wide variety of essential pre run refreshments.
An interesting tour with no need to rush, just enjoy the countryside and get to know fellow enthusiasts. The start will be from 10am with an easy to follow “Tulip” road book, a rally plate is also provided.
Our route will take us from Worcestershire into Shropshire and on to Ironbridge for a visit to Blists Hill Victorian town. Here you will step back 100 years and be able to browse the period attractions and partake in some refreshments.
You will then return via a different route to the Masons Arms, Wichenford where a function room is booked for a group dinner before you make your way home or your B&B.
A number of B&B rooms are available locally for those who wish to make it a leisurely weekend and stay Friday and/or Saturday night.
£35 per car (£38 for non-members) to include entry for 2 into the museum
The cost also covers planning, MSA authorisation and admin expenses.
Extra passengers are welcome at a cost £7 per person to cover museum entry.
