We have had to make some changes to the planned Mid North Championship to accommodate this change of venue from Fradley Park to Teesside
Instead of holding 2 Sprints (Rounds 5 & 6) we are now holding one Endurance (Round 5) see below
Teesside, with its three different configurations, is reputed to have the longest karting circuit in the world. It’s National circuit offers many twists, turns and high speed straights with the layout very much depending on the configuration used on the day.
Please arrive by 10.00. On arrival all drivers will be kitted out with racing overalls, a helmet and gloves (you may bring your own if you wish). Please wear suitable under clothing for the weather, and trainers or shoes. NO SANDALS, LONG HEELS, OR OPEN TOED SHOES please.
Drivers : Minimum of 10 required. All Drivers must be more than 4’ 6” high
Minimum Age : 16 (Under 18’s require parent or Guardian Signature
Facilities: Refreshments are available from an in-house cafe.
Spectators : Welcome, but please let Oliver know that you are attending
Following reception it’s off for a full safety briefing before taking to the track for a 20 minute practice session where Drivers can familiarise themselves with the challenging twists and turns of the Teesside circuit
This will be followed by a 40 minute single driver endurance race with awards for the top drivers.
