Friday 4 May to Sunday 7 May 2017
Set in unspoilt parkland with over 5km of paths and trails winding around beautiful lakes Emberton Country Park is the ideal location for a family friendly holiday. Explore the park to discover children’s play areas, BBQ and picnic spots and a unique quarry experience.
Located next to the village of Emberton, close to the market town of Olney and with Milton Keynes less than 10 miles away there is plenty to do while you stay with us.
The park has an information center, café, fishing facilities, and the site is also equipped with toilet for all to use.
Unfortunately there is no Electric Hook up and there are no showers.
On Friday 5 May we have provisionally booked a group visit to Bletchley park. As long as we get 12 bookings or more.
Bletchley Park is a place of exceptional historical importance. It remains highly relevant to our lives today and for the future. It is the home of British codebreaking and a birthplace of modern information technology. It played a major role in World War Two, producing secret intelligence which had a direct and profound influence on the outcome of the conflict.
Over the past twenty years Bletchley Park has become an internationally renowned site, visited by people from around the world, which acknowledges the successes from the War and the people responsible for them. It celebrates their values: broad-minded patriotism; commitment; discipline; technological excellence. By presenting and explaining these achievements and these values, in the very place where they occurred, Bletchley Park brings together the dramatic history of the twentieth century with the challenges we face in the twenty first in our rapidly changing and technologically complex society.
Public interest in Bletchley Park has grown enormously over the past few years and the number of visitors to Bletchley Park in 2016 was over 250,000
