Come and join us for our Berkshire August holiday meet at this very popular site.
The town of Abingdon is only a short walk away and there are lovely walks along the banks of the River Thames (above), which runs alongside the site. Oxford is nearby – why not learn the fascinating history of this ity by booking an Oxford University walking tour? Or perhaps get a ticket for the hop-on hop off bus tour? It’s also a beautiful place to simply have a wander round and enjoy the cafés, restaurants and shops.
