Thursday 22 June to Thursday 3 July 2017
Last year, some who wished come on this rally found that they were already committed elsewhere and, as some of you who joined us last year discovered, there is just so much to see and do in the area, so, back by popular demand, here is another rare opportunity to spend a pleasant few days exploring the many interesting facets of Merseyside.
The site is literally a 3 minute drive from Hoylake Park and Ride station and just a 5 minute walk from Manor Road station on the Merserail electric network, offering frequent, direct trains into the heart of Liverpool City Centre, with it's two Cathedrals, historic iconic waterfront, museums and Merseybeat connections, as well as plenty of retail therapy. A Day Rover ticket and a single change of trains can take you to Formby and Southport, the North Wirral and Chester and Ellesmere Port, not forgetting Birkenhead waterfront and the Mersey Ferry as well, all by Merseyrail train services - so no parking problems and all trains are fully accessible for mobility scooters!
There should be at least one walking guided tour by a Blue Badge Guide, if there is sufficient interest, of Liverpool City Center, and although the site does not have hook-ups, the price does include 24hr access to toilets and hot showers, as well as use of the Club's hospitality room each evening and is suitable for all units and First Timers.
Being an 11-night Holiday Rally, you are free to stay for as few or as many nights as you wish and you can also extend your holiday by moving on to the Llangollen International Eisteddfod Rally, which is only just over an hour away. Please ring the Marshal prior to booking and for further information.
Please note this site does not have electric hook-up, the price does include 24hr access to toilets and hot showers, as well as use of the Club's hospitality room each evening.
