About the event

11am to 4pm, Saturday 16 July 2022

The Dorset Group would like to invite you along to the East Somerset Railway for a day out.

Step back in time and enjoy the atmosphere of this steam railway, which was re-opened by wildlife artist David Shepherd, who needed somewhere to house his two steam engines. The railway is a heritage railway in Somerset, running between Cranmore and Mendip Vale. Prior to the Beeching Axe, the railway was once part of the former Cheddar Valley line that ran from Witham to Yatton, meeting the Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway at Wells.

Join fellow members for breakfast/ brunch at 11.00 am at the on-site cafe (extra cost) or launch straight into a train ride and explore the rest of the attractions. The day is yours to enjoy- stay as long as you like.

Please contact Phill to book your place and/or breakfast.

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.

Price
The ticket (£10) includes unlimited train rides, visits to the engine shed, signal box and more!
