We are arranging a private tour of the famous Langham Wine Estate which produces sparking wines made solely from the classical Champagne varieties.
They only use the Traditional Method, utilising a second, in bottle fermentation, to produce the sparkle. Each bottle is then aged on yeast lees for a minimum of 18 months before being disgorged and aged further under cork.
We plan a two-hour guided tour and tasting. We begin with a brief history of the estate and make our way in to the vineyard to discuss the annual vine cycle and the steps we take to ensure we produce the highest quality grapes. The tour then moves to the winery, followed by the wine store, where the wine production process is explained and visitors are able to see how we go about producing world-class sparkling wines.
The tour concludes in the tasting room with a tutored tasting of a selection of their wines.
Please bring appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear, we are located on a farm!
