Join the Ipswich Group to learn about how the Fishermen's Mission supports one of the world’s most dangerous jobs.
In November, the nights have drawn in and the weather is becoming wintry, but people working in the fishing industry still have to put to sea to bring ashore the catch. Theirs is one of the most dangerous occupations there is, and the role of the Fishermen’s mission is to provide help and assistance to people in the industry if there is injury or loss.
Andy Malcolm is our local representative and will give us the full story of the organisation and help it provides. Come and hear about one of the hardest jobs going.
Following the talk, there will be the usual refreshments.
