This month's Lunch Bunch is a little different, as Mike and Freda are unable to attend as we'll be cruising in the Caribbean! However, we're delighted and grateful to be able to confirm that Barry and Lynn Lovatt have kindly agreed to host this time
If you haven't joined us before, LUNCH BUNCH is a Local Group, aimed at members in the South Cheshire, Potteries and North Shropshire areas, and we meet on the 2nd Tuesday each month at 12:30. This month, on Tuesday 13th August, we're booked into a favourite of ours, that we generally visit in the Summer - The Wharf Tavern at Goldstone, where there is also a Camping Site, so you could book yourselves in and come and stay for a night or two!
If coming South from Market Drayton, beyond Woodseaves, outside of the 40mph zone on the A529, turn East at the brown 'Wharf Tavern' sign. If coming North from Hinstock on the A529, turn right for Cheswardine at the brown 'Wharf Tavern' sign. Continue, always heading straight on or bearing(but not turning!) left, dropping down into the valley and over the canal bridge 55, and the Pub is on the left immediately after.
Lunchtime Main Courses are from £14 and there are also lighter bites and sandwiches. Join us for good food and a leisurely couple of hours of chat with fellow members. Please let Barry and Lynn Lovatt know if you intend joining them
Mike and Freda will be back at the helm for our 12th March meeting at The Woodpecker Cookhouse in Northwich.
