7.45pm to 9.45pm, Tuesday 9 June 2020
We look forward to welcoming members and guests to our June clubnight.
This month we are pleased to welcome one of our regular speakers, Richard Thomas. Richard has researched the fascinating history of the Fosse Way, the 214 mile Roman Road from Exeter to Lincoln. We shall learn why it was so straight and how the Romans surveyed and built it. There will be some digressions to look at Boudicca ,the Lincoln Imp and the Lancaster bombers.
