The North East London Group would like to invite you to their October club night.
This club night we shall be entertained by one of our own members, Stafford Steed. Stafford is an active walker who will re-live his trek, and show projected images, along one of the UK’s most dramatic walks, the 95 mile West Highland Way.
He will tell us about using ancient drove roads; mountain tracks and an ancient military road, the walk starts from Milngavie on the outskirts of Glasgow, traverses the Eastern bank of Loch Lomond, and crosses Rannoch Moor to the foothills of Ben Nevis before finishing in Fort William.
The talk includes the climbing of both Ben Lomond and Ben Nevis.
Refreshments will follow the talk and give time for a chat.
