Tonight's talk traces the aeronautical career of Herbert "Jeff" Jeffree who started off with biplane design moving on to Vickers at Brooklands in the mid 1930's joining Barnes Wallis on the Wellington bomber and the bouncing bomb projects. He ended up with the British Aircraft Corporation so his career spanned the era from airships to supersonic airliners. The talk will be given by Tony Hadland who just happens to be Jeff's son-in-law which will make this all the more interesting, It will be illustrated with many rare photographs. Everyone is welcome to join us for what promises to be a great evening.
