About the event

7.30pm to 10pm, Wednesday 10 October 2018

Our talk will be by Dawn Blunden who runs Sophisticake, Cake Makers to Royalty.

“My sister in law, Mary Robinson & myself Dawn Blunden can reveal one of the best kept secrets of The Royal Wedding - We were given the honour of making the wedding cake for Prince Charles & Camilla Parker Bowles”. The finished cake weighed 17 stone (170Kgs)! Dawn will be revealing more secrets during her talk which should be very interesting and informative. A replica of the cake is now on show at the shop Sophisticake, Unit 6, The Broadway Centre, Woodhall Spa (Please Note - This talk will be at  John Clare’s Cottage)

After the talk there will be delicious homemade scones, tea and coffee freshly prepared by the staff at John Clare cottage. Soft drinks, wine and craft beer will be on sale during the evening.

We hope to see you there!
