We have all seen the destruction above ground at the WW1 battle sites, but how much do we know of the tunnel systems under these battle sites, used to house the troops and to undermine and destroy the enemies’ positions.
Our speaker tonight is Colin Lukacs-Winn, a WW1 researcher specialising in work by Royal Engineers Tunnelling Companies and works in France and Flanders. He has appeared on TV documentaries and was involved with the making of the 2018 film 'They Shall Not Grow Old'. Colin will bring artifacts from the WW1 battle fields.
We hope to see you there.
