Friday 24 May to Sunday 2 June 2019
- Enjoy panoramic views of the Yorkshire coast
- Ancient sea port
- Perfect setting for fish and chips
This rally is set in the beautiful seaside town of Whitby, where you’ll be spoilt for choice for things to do!
The site is just a short walk from Whitby, a town which is full of history. Be aware the return walk is uphill, though buses and taxis are available.
You can discover the town’s connection with Captain Cook, enjoy some traditional fish and chips or, if you fancy raising your heart rate, then climb the 199 steps to the gothic Whitby Abbey, inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Dracula – you’ll be rewarded with stunning views across the bay. If you feel like exploring the surrounding area, steam fans can re-enact Harry Potter’s journey to Hogwarts by boarding the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
You’ll also be in a perfect location to visit Heartbeat country and the North York Moors National Park. This is a fantastic opportunity to discover and explore this beautiful part of the country.
The site is on the grounds of Caedmon Community College, which provide the perfect base to sit back and relax. The pitches are flat – ideal for motorhomes and good for tents and caravans, too – and there are shower and toilet facilities. Social events are arranged for each evening, this promises to be a great rally for all the family. Feel free to join us for as many nights as you wish during the rally period.
