7.30pm to 10pm, Wednesday 12 September 2018
Have you ever thought how accent and dialects vary, how different accents require different ways of speaking and using the mouth and tongue? And how about recognising the slight variations in accent that reflect places only a few miles apart?
Derek Poulson is an actor who delves into his experiences of the theatre and performance to give us an entertaining trip around the country using his voice. The more the merrier for this talk, as the audience can join in with their own accents and experiences. So bring along all your friends and family to ensure a wide range of different accents and dialects.
As usual, chip butties are served at 7.30pm while everyone catches up, and the talk will start at 8pm.
