talk and presentation

Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells Group

About the event

7pm to 9.30pm, Monday 7 February 2022

Our speaker Malcolm Wells MBE will outlines his presentation on light hearted stories of his time at Canine Partners as their National Speaker including working with Sir Terry Wogan and how to teach a dog to use a washing machine.

Malcolm has 24 years experience in the Army as a musician playing cello on state occasions and banquets at Kensington and Buckingham Palace. There will be lots of amusing stories including the occasion when we played the wrong National Anthem.

As a medical assistant in the first Gulf war, don't worry there is nothing gruesome there will be light hearted stories of things that could have gone better.

He will finish the talk with the “behind the scenes” experience of receiving the MBE at Buckingham Palace including when he was mistaken as a member of the Royal Household.

The presentation is kept fast moving informative and entertaining.

We look forward to seeing you all there.
