The village of Aldborough, a short distance from York, is the site of Isurium Brigantum, once one of the most important towns in Roman Britain. This talk will be delivered by David Roberts who is a Trustee of the Friends of Roman Aldborough.
He will share entertaining and intriguing tales as he brings the story of the town to life. His talk will include what has been revealed by recent excavations and how a local vineyard is following in the footsteps of the Romans.
