Join Boundless for an unforgettable day out at Edinburgh Zoo, one of Scotland’s leading conservation charities. Edinburgh Zoo is spread over 82 acres of beautiful wooded hillside with great views over the city. It’s also home to over 1000 rare and endangered animals, including the only koalas and giant pandas in the UK, making the zoo truly unique and a fantastic day out for all the family.

You’ll enjoy meeting some of the other residents too – head over to Penguin Rock, where you can see the Penguin Parade – and do keep an eye out for penguin royalty with the only penguin ever to be knighted, Sir Nils Olav. Stop by the Budongo Trail and watch chimpanzees in action and, if you’re feeling brave, how about the glass tunnel at Tiger Tracks, where you might spot the resident Sumatran tiger strolling right over your head?

If you’re interested in finding out more about the animals at Edinburgh Zoo, there’s a fascinating choice of free talks, or maybe a front row seat at the feed of the day is more your cup of tea. Whatever you decide to do, we promise you a wild day out!

You’ll receive a warm welcome from the Boundless team at our members’ desk – from dishing out maps to giving you the chance to win an animal adoption, they’ll be around to make sure you get the most out of your day.
