Spring into nature

This event has taken place but you can watch a recording of it now, just click on the green re-watch button below

With the year we’ve all had, spring is going to feel extra special this time around. Timed to coincide with the start of BBC Springwatch, this exclusive member event with plant and wildlife expert Simon Ginnaw will be homing in on the natural world you can find right on your doorstep.

Simon’s been leading wildlife tours across the world for more than a decade, but in this event he’ll be focusing his expertise on the birds to look out for where you live during May and June, their plumage, behaviour and how to spot their birdsong.

He’ll also be taking a look at the plants and herbs you can find all around you, their history and folklore, and how people may have used them for medicinal purposes in the past.
