9.30am to 6pm, Thursday 13 June
The York Group is inviting you to join this coach trip to visit two of Yorkshire's famous food places.
The coach will leave the Mercure York Fairfield Manor Hotel and take us to the Wensleydale Creamery, home of Wensleydale cheese. We will begin the visit in the cheese making demonstration room. There will then be time for you to purchase lunch in the on-site cafe or restaurant, after which you will be able to visit the cheese tasting room and make purchases in the shop.
On the way back to York, we will stop off at the Brymor Ice Cream Parlour to indulge in the many flavours of ice cream and/or to have a drink, after which we will return to Fairfield Manor.
