From 31 March, the following additional benefits are no longer available:

Historic Royal Palaces is an independent charity caring for six historic palaces across the UK. The charity depends on funding sources including membership donations, admission fees and events to support their important initiatives.

If you currently work or have previously worked for – or have retired from – the public sector or civil service, you can join Boundless. This includes civil service departments as well as public sector employers like the NHS, armed forces, emergency services, education, government agencies and local authorities. When visiting the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace and Hillsborough Castle and Gardens and Banqueting House, you must present the following items at the palace admissions office, where you will be given your free ticket(s) for entry:
Your Palace Pass
Your Boundless Plus membership card
A valid form of photo ID.
Important: On the day of your visit, you must take your entry documents to the palace ticket office to claim your ticket(s) to the palace.
Admission to Kew Gardens is needed to access any HRP site within Kew. For entry you’ll need:

Upgrade to Boundless Plus to book complimentary Kew Gardens admission and tickets for The Great Pagoda.
Can I pre-book my visit?
Pre-booking is not available for the following Historic Royal Palaces sites with Boundless Plus:
The Tower of London
Hampton Court Palace
Kensington Palace
Hillsborough Castle and Gardens
Banqueting House.
In busy periods you will be given the next available timeslot on the day. Always check site opening times and visitor information before you visit.

A child under 5 goes free at Historic Royal Palaces sites and does not require an admission ticket. For Boundless Plus members, admission is provided for one child under the age of 18 per visit, but a Boundless Plus member must be present for the free child admission to apply.
Free admission to Historic Royal Palaces sites is only available to Boundless Plus members. To benefit from unlimited admission, a Boundless Plus member must be present and provide the necessary forms of identification.

The important bits
Unlimited access: Unlimited access to Historic Royal Palaces sites is only available to Boundless Plus members. Excludes separately ticketed events and attractions. To benefit from unlimited admission benefits, a Boundless Plus member must be present and provide the necessary forms of identification.
To visit the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Banqueting House, Kensington Palace and Hillsborough Castle and Gardens, Boundless Plus members must be present and provide their Palace Pass, Boundless Plus membership card, and a valid form of photo identification.
Admission to Kew Gardens is needed to access any site within Kew. Boundless Plus members are advised to use their Kew Gardens admission benefits when they visit. Please note that Kew Palace, Queen Charlotte’s Cottage and the Great Pagoda are open from Saturday 28 March 2026 until Sunday 27 September 2026.
Pre-booking is not available for any Historic Royal Palaces sites with Boundless Plus. Admittance is at the next available timeslot – please be aware that you may have to queue and wait on busy days.
All visitors must follow health and safety guidelines, which will be clearly communicated on site, and play their part in keeping everyone safe.
Historic Royal Palaces reserves the right to refuse admittance at any time.
Palace Pass: The Palace Pass is only available to Boundless Plus members and will be provided as a voucher by Boundless. The Palace Pass is valid as part of Boundless by CSMA's Corporate Membership with Historic Royal Palaces. The Palace Pass has no cash value and is non-transferrable, cannot be re-sold and can only be used by the Palace Pass owner. The Palace Pass cannot be used to reserve tickets in advance of the visit date and does not confer any preferential treatment, or ability to queue jump or similar. The Palace Pass is only valid up to and including the date of expiry.
Please bring the Palace Pass to the ticket office on the day of your visit to obtain your ticket(s) to one of the following: Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Banqueting House, Kensington Palace or Hillsborough Castle and Gardens. Please note that you will also be asked to present your Boundless Plus membership card and a form of photo ID to obtain your tickets.
You cannot book your entrance online. Admittance is at the next available slot - please be aware that you may have to queue and wait on busy days. The Tower of London and Kensington Palace can get busy, especially during school holidays and bank holidays, so we recommend arriving early in the day to secure tickets and to check these websites before travelling to see available timeslots. Banqueting House access is available on Public Open Days only. Capacity is limited so entry is subject to availability and visitors may be asked to wait or return later if the venue has reached capacity.
