About this event
Have you ever wondered how much of a difference you could make by giving just one hour of your time?
Volunteers are at the heart of so many charities, community projects and organisations across the UK. From supporting people in need and bringing communities together to helping deliver activities, events and vital services, their contribution reaches far beyond the hours they give. They help people feel connected, create lasting friendships and build stronger communities where everyone has the opportunity to belong.
Join Boundless for an inspiring and thought-provoking talk exploring the incredible impact of volunteering and the people who make it possible. Discover how volunteers do much more than support the day-to-day running of charities. They can be the catalyst for positive change, helping communities grow, thrive and support one another.
We’ll celebrate the remarkable work volunteers do across the country, often quietly behind the scenes, and explore how their time, skills, kindness and enthusiasm help make so many of the things we value possible. From small acts of kindness to long-term commitments, every contribution has the potential to make a meaningful difference to someone’s life.
But volunteering isn’t just about what we give. It can also bring a sense of purpose, new experiences, fresh perspectives and the opportunity to meet people we might never otherwise have crossed paths with.
Whether you already volunteer, have been thinking about getting involved, or simply want to discover how you could make a difference, this session will offer plenty of inspiration and food for
Join us to discover how a little of your time could help change someone else’s life, strengthen your community and perhaps even change your own.
