Boundless Digital Magazine Winter 2025

From bucket-list trips to new days out, expand your horizons in 2026.

Words from Gerard O’Sullivan, Association Chair

It’s that time of year when we reflect but also look to the future. I’ve been thinking about how fantastic it was to connect with so many of you at our AGM in October, particularly at the Volunteer Recognition Awards Dinner. Seeing so much dedication was incredible. Volunteers are the heart and soul of Boundless – huge thanks to all of you.

The theme this issue is ‘explore more’, which isn’t just about distance – it’s about trying a new approach. My wife and I proved this recently by Interrailing around Europe, which was a wonderful challenge. I’ll push that further by driving to the Arctic Circle in March for the Snowstorm Rally!

'Exploring more’ is for everyone. As a Boundless member you’re part of a vibrant club – a place to meet new people, learn new skills and share great experiences. This issue offers ideas for all types of discovery, whether it’s a grand trip or engaging with the world in a new way. Maybe you’ll discover the joy of no-fly travel (page 54) or embrace the thrill of a solo safari (page 40). For a new hobby you can do anywhere, our guide to stargazing is a great place to start (page 60). I hope you’re inspired to be boundless in your own way.
