Playing at the New Wimbledon Theatre from 1-6 April (and at other venues across the UK thereafter), An Officer and a Gentleman: The Musical updates the film’s classic storyline and throws in a whole bunch of chart classics to truly sweep you off your feet.

During the Easter holidays, keeping kids off their games consoles can be a real challenge. One thing that’s sure to help them forget their Xbox or PlayStation is a trip to a theme park. Designed with families in mind, Gulliver’s promises a great day out for adults and kids alike, offering everything from white knuckle rides to water slides, climbing walls to crazy golf. With four locations across the UK, you’ll never be far away from fun times!

Boundless offer: Members get a free 12-month subscription to Kids Pass, which provides loads of discounts including 10% off Gullivers’ tickets

7. Reach for the stars

Theme park

April is a good month for stargazing – there are various events planned for International Dark Sky Week, which runs from 2 to 8 April, and the Lyrids Meteor Shower peaks on 22 and 23 April. No matter how many times you look up at the night sky, there will always be something new to discover. If you need help identifying the different patterns and constellations, then a guided stargazing experience could be just the ticket. Virgin Experience Days offers two: Dark Sky Wales Stargazing for Two (£51 – your Boundless discount brings the price down to £48.80) will see you and a friend or family member venture out to the Brecon Beacons Observatory, where you’ll be given portable telescopes and the knowledge you need to identify those mysterious celestial objects; or, if you want to turn your newfound hobby into a short break, there’s the Three Day Family Stargazing Experience with Dark Sky Wales (full price £484 - that’s £387.20 with your Boundless discount), which includes accommodation for up to four people in a Deluxe Wigwam Cabin that comes with an en suite bathroom, a kitchenette and a TV. By the time you come home, you’ll have stars in your eyes.

Boundless offer: Members can save 20% on selected activities with Virgin Experience Days

8. Meet some wildlife

Rodent

With the weather warming up a bit, now is a great time to get outdoors and spend some time enjoying your natural surroundings and the wildlife that lives there. The WWT’s nine centres across the UK provide a great opportunity to do this, playing host to everything from woodpeckers to willow warblers, water voles to whistling ducks. It’s a peak time for spring migration so there’s lots to see – and if you’re visiting with kids, why not draw up a list of birds or animals, and challenge them to see how many they can spot.

Boundless offer: Members get free year-round access to all nine WWT centres across the UK, and they can also take one additional adult and up to six children at no extra cost
