1. Take your family to the flicks

Characters from Inside Out 2

We’ll obviously be hoping for some good weather in June, but if the heavens decide to open, why not treat the kids (and yourself!) to a cinema trip. There’s every chance your little ones won’t have been born when the original Inside Out movie came out in 2015,  but that doesn’t mean they won’t love the sequel. Directed by Kelsey Mann, this animated adventure takes us back inside the mind of Riley, whose transition into a teenager brings with it a whole new range of Emotions – including Anxiety and Embarrassment. Funny and poignant in equal measures, this coming-of-age tale is sure to keep the whole family entertained.

Boundless offer: Members get access to The Cinema Society, which will enable you to get 37% off tickets, snacks and drinks at a choice of cinemas nationwide.

2. Catch a stage revival

Adrian Dunbar in Kiss me Kate still

Nothing raises the spirits like a stage musical, and one of the most popular shows of all time is returning in a brand-new London production this summer. Kiss Me Kate follows a beleaguered director whose attempts to put on Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew are hampered by his feelings for the show’s leading lady – also his ex-wife – and the appearance of two gangsters. Featuring the songs of Cole Porter, including Too Darn Hot, Brush Up Your Shakespeare and Wunderbar, this colourful comedy is playing at the Barbican from 4 June to 14 September. With Adrian Dunbar, Peter Davison and Tony award winner Stephanie J Block leading the all-star cast, it’s bound to hit the spot.

Boundless offer: Members can get 10% off theatre tickets when booking through Boundless Tickets.

3. Get on your bike!

Family cycling on trail

Cycling is one of the most enjoyable forms of exercise there is – not only does it give you a great aerobic workout, but it also enables you to get some fresh air and enjoy your natural surroundings. With the United Nations’ World Bicycle Day happening this month (3 June), raising awareness of this wonderful pastime, why not use that as an excuse to dust off your two-wheeler and hit the roads or trails. Even a gentle ride can burn 300 calories an hour, and it’ll be a whole lot more fun than going to the gym!

Boundless offer: Members get 8% off bikes and cycling accessories when they shop in-store at one of the Halfords outlets nationwide.

4. Do something for Dad

With Father’s Day falling this month (16 June), it’s time to thank your dad for all the nice things he’s done for you over the years. If you’re struggling to think of something more exciting than the usual pair of socks, then Virgin Experience Days is your friend. It’s packed with activities that might float your old man’s boat, from driving and flying days to steam railway rides and whisky tasting sessions. Book an experience for two, and you’ll have the opportunity to spend some valuable time together.

Boundless offer: Members get 20% off a range of activities at Virgin Experience Days

5. Eat your greens

Many of us resort to comfort eating during the winter as it can help us cope with the miserable weather and long, dark nights. But it’s not a good idea to keep up the bad habits throughout the year – and that’s why the British Nutrition Foundation launched Healthy Eating Week (10-14 June), an initiative designed to encourage better food choices among workplaces, community groups and children. Register on the website and you’ll receive information and resources to help you get on the right track. By the way, if you’re looking for some inspiration on how to transform those healthy ingredients into something delicious, check out these salad recipes from BBC Good Food

Boundless offer: Members can save at many local supermarkets by purchasing a pre-paid discount shopping card.

6. Come and meet some Boundless buddies

One of the many benefits of Boundless membership is that you get regular invitations to Member Days, where you can gain cheaper entry to one of the UK’s top attractions, and while away the hours in the company of like-minded people. In June, join us as we head to Tatton Park, a stunning grade 1-listed estate in the heart of Cheshire. Set in beautiful parkland, this historic location is packed with things to explore, including a neo-classical mansion complete with state rooms and servants’ quarters, the world-famous Japanese Garden and a farm filled with rare-breed animals. Throw in an adventure park for the little ones and there really is something here for everyone. What’s more, we’ll be holding a prize draw at the end of the day, giving you the chance to take some goodies home with you.

Boundless offer: Members can bring a family of four to this special day for just £20 – that’s a total saving of £45.50.

From straightforward jumping to high drops, foam pits and battle beams, these activity centres offer a great variety of jumping options. You probably deserve some down time, too, so grab a coffee and relax while they burn off some energy.
