How do I get unlimited access to National Trust for Scotland places?

What is the age limit for free child admission?   

For Boundless Plus members, admission is provided for six children under the age of 18 per visit, but a Boundless Plus member must be present for the free child admission to apply.

Can anyone use my membership card?   

Unlimited admission to National Trust for Scotland places is only available to Boundless Plus members. To benefit, a Boundless Plus member must be present and provide a valid membership card with a form of photo identification.

Boundless Plus membership allows admission only for a family (two adults and up to six children) at National Trust for Scotland places.

Boundless Plus membership is valid 7 days a week at National Trust for Scotland places within advertised opening hours. These may be subject to change at any time. Please check the website to plan your visit: Places to Visit in Scotland | National Trust for Scotland(nts.org.uk)

Some National Trust for Scotland places may require or advise pre-booking in advance. Please check the website to plan your visit 1

ID may be requested to verify that the visitor(s) corresponds to the name featured on the Boundless Plus membership card. If the National Trust for Scotland deems resale or membership card transfer to have occurred, they reserve the right to refuse use of the card and the full admission price may be charged.

Boundless Plus membership does not grant entry to ticketed events taking place at National Trust for Scotland places on the day of visitation.

Boundless Plus membership does not allow admission to places with reciprocal entry agreements, such as National Trust (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).

Boundless Plus membership entry is for standard admission only and excludes non-standard admission, group entry, transport, and any paid events.

1 Visit the property’s page on the National Trust for Scotland website, click ‘Planning Your Visit’ to find out whether booking is required or advised. If booking is required or advised, click on ‘Book Visit’ and select the free Trust Member option. Complete the transaction and you will receive a confirmation email. If you only select the free members tickets, you will not need to enter your debit/credit card details and you will not be charged. Bring along both your booking confirmation and Boundless Plus membership card. Present these to the National Trust for Scotland team member on arrival. Without both the booking confirmation and a Boundless Plus membership card we cannot guarantee entry, and without Boundless Plus membership card you will not receive free entry and will be charged the full admission price.
