About Cotswold Cottages

Cotswold Cottages are located in one of the prettiest villages in the UK, Bourton-on-the-Water, and are perfect for a romantic getaway or family escape. There are four quaint cottage apartments housed within an old mill building and a larger semi-detached cottage, Stepping Stones, which is perfect for bigger groups and families. Each cottage has an individual feel and is lovingly furnished to make the most of its unique features, including original rustic exposed beams. Built from local Cotswold stone, the self-catering cottages all come with well equipped kitchens, charming lounges and offer plenty of modern comforts for an unforgettable self-catering getaway.

What’s around

Bird Land

Birdland is set in nine acres of gardens and woodland, there are over 130 species of birds on display, from some of the rarest, to the most unique species that have developed to live in a specific habitat. Birdland Park and Gardens is home to the only breeding group in the UK for King Penguins. Discover exotic and rare birds, walk around the Jurassic Journey in an area of over two acres, set in a tranquil setting for observing local wildlife in the Marshmouth Nature Reserve, finish your visit off with refreshments at the Flamingo Point Café.

Model Village

Get an idea of what it would have felt like to be Gulliver in Lilliput as you explore the only Grade II listed model village in the country. Created from local Cotswold stone by highly skilled craftsmen, it is a replica of the buildings that existed in Bourton-on-the-Water in the 1930s and shows how they are being used today (as banks, shops, meeting halls etc).
