The Continental Heritage Run 2027
23 June – 30 June 2027
You’re invited to a truly special Boundless heritage event.
Recreating a Historic Journey
In 1927, members of the Civil Service Motoring Association set off on the organisation's first-ever Continental Run, embarking on an ambitious motoring adventure from Boulogne to the spa town of Aix-les-Bains in the French Alps.
Almost a century later, Boundless is planning to recreate this remarkable journey and invite members to be part of a unique celebration of our motoring heritage. Inspired by the spirit of the original run, this special event offers the opportunity to experience the camaraderie, freedom and sense of adventure that defined the Association's early years.
About the Run:
Over eight days (seven nights), you'll travel through some of France's most stunning landscapes, following recommended routes that showcase spectacular scenery, charming historic towns and enjoyable driving roads. Rather than travelling as a convoy, you'll have the freedom to explore at your own pace using a Roadbook giving the itinerary and packed with a choice of routes, local information, points of interest and recommendations for places to stop along the way. Each evening, the group will come together at hand-picked hotels, creating opportunities to share experiences and stories with fellow members.
The tour will culminate in the beautiful lakeside destination of Aix-les-Bains, where we'll celebrate the achievement with a special gala dinner and rooftop drinks, providing the perfect finale to an unforgettable journey.
Whether you're passionate about classic cars, own a cherished vehicle, or simply enjoy the idea of exploring France with like-minded members, this promises to be a truly memorable adventure.
