About the visit

Join fellow Boundless members for a rare and fascinating guided visit to Silverlake, a privately owned 227 hectare development of second and holiday homes set within a carefully managed natural landscape designed to maximise both ecological and recreational value.

The site contains a remarkable variety of habitats, including open water, wetlands, heathland, woodland, grazing land, living roofs, owl boxes, bat roosts, and dormouse habitats. Longhorn cattle and Dartmoor ponies also play an important role in maintaining the landscape and supporting biodiversity across the estate.

While part of Silverlake is open to the public, much of the site is normally accessible only to property owners and holiday guests. On this special occasion, however, Richard Surry, who regularly leads nature walks for residents and visitors staying on site, has kindly agreed to guide a Boundless group through the restricted areas and share his knowledge of the habitats, wildlife, and conservation work taking place there.

Numbers are strictly limited for this visit, so early booking is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.

Everyone attending can look forward to an informative, enjoyable, and unique experience in a beautiful natural setting.
