Privatisation within the Civil service

Boundless, formally Civil Service Motoring Association (CSMA), has been providing support to individuals within the civil service for over a century. During this time, several privatisations have taken place, including those of British Rail, British Telecom, and Royal Mail. If you are currently employed by or have previous experience of working for a privatised company and have ties to the civil service, you are eligible to join Boundless.

The public sector provides a range of public services. These services are funded by taxpayers and are designed to support people and communities. You are eligible to join Boundless if you currently work or have worked in any of the following areas operated or owned by the government:

Armed Forces

Education

Emergency services

Finance

Healthcare

Law enforcement

Local government

Public utilities

Social care & social services

Transit infrastructure

Retirement or resignation

Unlike some membership clubs, Boundless continues to support and inspire your free time when you retire or resign from a publicly funded organisation. You are eligible to join Boundless if you have previously worked in a publicly funded organisation at any point within your career.
