About the RunJoin fellow Boundless members for a brand-new addition to this year’s calendar, a scenic run through the picturesque lanes and countryside of North Hertfordshire, with parts of Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire also featured along the way. The day begins at Vanstone Park near Codicote, where entrants can enjoy tea, coffee and a breakfast bap before setting off on a carefully planned countryside route through some of the region’s most beautiful rural scenery. The run concludes at the Shuttleworth Collection, renowned for its impressive collection of vintage aircraft, classic vehicles and historic exhibits. After exploring the museum and exhibits, relax with tea, coffee and cake as you round off a memorable day with fellow members. It’s also easy to reach, although the route is predominantly rural in nature, both the start and finish locations are conveniently situated close to the A1 and A1(M). Making the event easily accessible for members travelling from further afield. |
What You'll See Along the WayDesigned to be much more than just a drive out, the route includes a number of landmarks and places of interest. One of the highlights is a visit to Stotfold Mill and Nature Reserve, home to a fully restored working water mill which we hope will be in operation on the day. Throughout the run, you'll also pass through charming villages and enjoy some of the area's finest countryside views. |
