About the driveJoin fellow Boundless members for the Midland Meander Road Run, taking in a broadly circular route around the North Cotswolds, an area renowned for its quintessentially English villages and beautiful countryside. Carefully planned to avoid the hustle and bustle of the main Cotswold towns, the route showcases the quieter charm and hidden gems of this much loved region. The event is a Touring Assembly covering approximately 70 miles of sealed surface roads of varying classes, selected wherever possible for their scenic appeal and driving enjoyment. Along the way, you will travel through picturesque villages made up of Cotswold homes constructed from golden hued limestone, alongside traditional black and white cottages with thatched roofs and colourful rose gardens. The surrounding landscape is defined by rolling hills, known as "wolds", together with expansive meadows, woodlands and wildflower fields, offering miles of beautiful countryside to enjoy at a relaxed pace. Open to all three or four wheeled passenger vehicles of any age, the Midland Meander Road Run promises an enjoyable day out for both classic and modern vehicle enthusiasts alike. Tea and coffee will be available at the start of the event, with refreshments and cake planned for the finish to round off a memorable day in the countryside. |
