About the tripJoin fellow Boundless members for a fascinating summer day out at the Great War Huts in Bury St Edmunds. This year’s visit takes us to the First World War Heritage project, home to an impressive collection of restored huts, temporary wartime structures, and reconstructed trench systems from the Great War. To help us make the most of the experience, we’ve arranged a guided tour and expert talk, offering a deeper insight into life on the front and behind the lines during the First World War. Entry to the site is free, although a suggested donation of £5 would be greatly appreciated to support the project’s ongoing work. Everyone is welcome to join us for what promises to be an engaging, informative, and enjoyable day out. |
