About the trip

Join fellow Boundless members for an afternoon visit and guided tour of St Mary’s Church in Kesgrave.

Although built in the 20th century and relatively modern in appearance, the church has a remarkable story behind its creation, one linked to a national disaster that took place in 1930. The full story will be revealed during our visit.

St Mary’s is also home to an outstanding collection of 20th-century stained glass, which is why we have chosen to visit in the afternoon, when the windows can be seen at their best. The tour will begin at 2:00 pm and will conclude with an opportunity to enjoy light refreshments together.

There is a large car park behind the church, accessed via Rope’s Drive East, so parking and access should be straightforward.

Everyone is welcome to join us for what promises to be an engaging, informative, and enjoyable afternoon out.
