About the venueSummer has arrived and for our June meeting we’re heading to a lovely canalside setting just west of Nantwich. On Tuesday 9th June, Lunch Bunch will be visiting The Dusty Miller in Wrenbury (CW5 8HG), a charming pub located right beside the canal lift bridge on Cholmondeley Road. We last visited in 2023, and with a new landlord now in place, we’re pleased to say the updated menus come highly recommended. Travelling west through Wrenbury along Nantwich Road, you’ll pass the church as the road bends to the right and becomes Cholmondeley (pronounced “Chumley”) Road. Shortly after, you’ll see a new housing development on your left, with the entrance to The Dusty Miller car park just before the pub and canal bridge. Turn in over the wooden bridge into the car park. From there, access to the pub is available via a short set of steps, or alternatively a more gradual route leads through the beer garden with level access into the rear of the building. If approaching from the A49, the pub is on your right immediately after the canal lift bridge. Main courses start from £12.95, with lighter lunchtime options also available, giving plenty of choice for everyone. If you haven’t joined us before, Lunch Bunch is a friendly local group for members across South Cheshire, the Potteries and North Shropshire. We meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 12:30 for a 1:00pm lunch, offering a great chance to enjoy good food and even better company. New members are always very welcome, so it’s the perfect opportunity to come along and join us. |

Activities vary from group to group and can include anything from a museum visit or pub lunch to a guest speaker talk or games night. Groups are always pleased to welcome new faces.
In most cases, yes. Guests are welcome at social events, as long as one person attending is a Boundless member.

This depends on the event. Many social events are free, particularly those held at local venues. Some events, such as trips or special activities, may have a cost, but you may also be able to take advantage of exclusive Boundless member discounts.
