About the tripJoin fellow Boundless members this November for an engaging and informative club night talk. This talk was originally prepared by Nicola Sandall, a Blue Badge guide, for the 80th anniversary of D Day last year, but we were unable to host it at the time. Nicola is a thorough researcher and engaging speaker whom we have enjoyed hearing from before. Titled "Reflections on Lincolnshire at the End of the War", the talk explores the county’s significant contribution to the conflict and the many reminders that remain today. Nicola has carefully compiled a catalogue of these, offering a fascinating and informative insight into this important period of history. This promises to be a highly interesting and thought-provoking evening. |

I’ve never been to a social event before, what can I expect?
Social events are a relaxed and friendly way for Boundless members to come together, meet new people and enjoy shared interests.
Activities vary from group to group and can include anything from a museum visit or pub lunch to a guest speaker talk or games night. Groups are always pleased to welcome new faces.
Can I bring a guest with me to the event?
In most cases, yes. Guests are welcome at social events, as long as one person attending is a Boundless member.
There may be occasional exceptions, it’s always best to reach out and ask. You can used the contact details on the group’s home page or in the ‘How to book’ section of the event page.
Is there a cost to attend?
This depends on the event. Many social events are free, particularly those held at local venues. Some events, such as trips or special activities, may have a cost, but you may also be able to take advantage of exclusive Boundless member discounts.
Can I organise or help at a social event?
Yes – we’d love that! We are always looking for new volunteers to help create moments for members. It’s best to complete our volunteer interest form so we can get in touch and chat about opportunities.
